Once we put a ribbon on a house and a car in Montclair, NJ. It was only 5 years ago but I don’t think anyone would do it that way today. I don’t know if it would look as real, but it probably doesn’t matter.
First we shot with the ribbon and then quickly ripped it off (and the dealer sticker) and shot without. These photos were taken one hour apart. You can see from the shadows that the sun moved a bit. We were lucky that the sun stayed out.
It was a great crew and a nice afternoon. The shoot was for Met Life with the agency o2kl. The ribbon was hung by Georges Krivobok.
